VISION
The AMMA BUSIA MEMORIAL FOUNDATION sees a future with better management of debilitating diseases such as diabetes. That, through requisite health education, we can help those dealing with these diseases with the necessary support and resources to live quality lives.” Our Vision is to help manage and alleviate chronic diseases, and assist underprivileged but brilliant youth attain valuable education and chart a fruitful career path.
INTRODUCTION
The AMMA BUSIA MEMORIAL FOUNDATION is a not-for-profit foundation set up to support management, education and fight of diabetes in Ghana. The foundation also assists in the the education of bright but underprivileged youth in their career growth and choices
The AMMA BUSIA MEMORIAL FOUNDATION will develop and implement educational programmes with the support from global partners to deepen and contribute to the management and prevention of diabetes in the country and provide assistance in the career growth for the youth.
The AMMA BUSIA MEMORIAL FOUNDATION Working in collaboration with national and international partners, will seek to find workable solutions through diabetes research and the dissemination and sharing of such knowledge with Non-
Governmental Organizations (NGOs), operating in these specific areas in the effort to improve knowledge and management of the disease.
MISSION
The AMMA BUSIA MEMORIAL
FOUNDATION is dedicated to: “Contributing to the alleviation of diabetes through its early identification and prevention, especially through lifestyle changes and self-management of diabetes. This will be done through impact-based community education programmes, its numerous outreach programmes and its support of sustainable solutions in the fight against diabetes. The Foundation is also dedicated to providing assistance to needy youth with their education.”
